The route and interior visits are matched to your pace and opening hours.
Jewish quarter and synagogue heritage
Flexible short visit
Explore the historic Jewish quarter near Lyabi-Hauz and learn about the Bukharan Jewish community. A synagogue visit adds a living religious dimension to the neighbourhood walk.
Synagogue entry must be agreed with the community; worship and privacy take priority.
Nodir Divan Begi folklore evening
Evening
Spend an evening with traditional music and dance in the courtyard setting of Nodir Divan Begi madrasah. A dinner reservation can be planned around the confirmed performance.
The programme, performance date and dinner venue are confirmed individually; fashion or puppet shows are not assumed.
Embroidery and miniature-painting workshops

The artisan, hands-on activity and language are arranged in advance.

By host arrangement
Learn the preparation of a Bukhara-style plov and share the finished meal. This is a practical introduction to local cooking and the hospitality around the table.
The menu, setting and dietary requirements are agreed with the host; halim is not a guaranteed option.
