Tailor-made trips and hotel bookings

Tell us your dates, interests and preferred pace. We will plan a private trip through Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and beyond, and suggest hotels or guesthouses along the way. We plan your overnight stays, transport and guided visits around your flights. See services by city.

Airport and station transfers, private drivers

We meet you at the airport or station and arrange a car with a driver for journeys between cities, including stops along the way if you wish. You can book a transfer as a separate service. Tashkent arrival transfers.

Train tickets and domestic flights

Local guides, city walks and workshops

We arrange English-speaking guides in Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and Tashkent, as well as food tours, cooking classes and craft workshops. These include silk weaving in Margilan and ceramics in Rishtan. We plan each activity around your route and preferred pace. Samarkand services.

Day trips and overnight trips

Visit the mountains from Tashkent or the desert fortresses from Khiva, or spend a night in a yurt near Aydarkul. From Nukus, we arrange visits to the Savitsky Museum, Muynak and the Aral Sea. I LOVE TRAVELING LLC holds Uzbekistan tour operator license No. 877186, issued on 7 July 2025. Its legal name, license, tax ID and Tashkent address appear at the bottom of every page. The company is also the named author of every guide.

Every page shows when its facts were checked

Each page shows a “Facts checked” date below the title, a fact sheet with the source and date of each key fact, and its full list of sources at the end. We rely mainly on official sources in the country's own languages. Entry rules, trains, money and routes are rechecked at least monthly; city pages, itineraries and country guides at least every three months, and sooner when an official source announces a change. Complete guides, free, with no sign-up

Every guide can be read in full without an account or an email address. The contact form helps you draft a message. You send it yourself through WhatsApp or WeChat.

Services and price agreed before booking

You can ask for a single transfer or a whole trip. Before we arrange anything, we confirm what is included, check availability for your dates and give you a price. You cannot book or pay directly on the website.

Clear about what we check and where we operate

We explain whether we checked a fact in published sources or during a visit. We also make our service area clear: we arrange trips in Uzbekistan, with the option to continue to Kyrgyzstan. For Kazakhstan and Tajikistan, we publish travel guides only.

Our guides and services are for:

• First-time visitors planning to see Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva in one to two weeks.
• Independent travellers who book most things themselves and want help with part of the trip: an airport pickup, train tickets or a guide for a day.
• Travellers who want the whole trip arranged privately, with hotels, transport and guided visits planned around their flights.
• Families and small groups with specific needs, such as halal, kosher or vegetarian meals, a private car or a photographer.
• Travellers combining Uzbekistan with Kyrgyzstan, or crossing overland to Kazakhstan or Tajikistan with our route guides.

The team behind Oxusroad

Oxusroad is the travel brand of I LOVE TRAVELING LLC. The company was registered in Tashkent on 26 March 2025 and received its tour operator license on 7 July 2025. It is responsible for every page published on the site and every service it arranges.

The Oxusroad team in Tashkent researches and writes the guides, mainly using official sources in Uzbek and Russian. We check the text against these sources before publication. The team works in English and Russian. As editors and reviewers join us, we will list their names and link to their profiles here.

How Oxusroad works

1. Plan with the guides. Start with an itinerary, the travel guide or a city page. Everything is free to read.
2. Prepare your message. On the contact page, draft a message in English or Russian with your dates, group size, interests and questions.
3. Send it on WhatsApp or WeChat. Nothing is sent until you press send in the messaging app. WhatsApp: +998974806036. We reply during business hours in Uzbekistan (UTC+5). We cannot guarantee a response time. If your trip is soon, mention this in your first message.
4. Confirm the services and price. We confirm what is included, check availability for your dates and give you a price. Nothing is booked before you agree.
5. Stay in touch during your trip. We confirm your arrangements in the same conversation. If train tickets sell out or your plans change during the trip, message us during business hours. We will look for another train or a car. We help coordinate travel, but do not provide a 24-hour emergency service.
