Information from website visits
You can read our guides without creating an account or submitting contact details. Delivering a page involves technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser and device information, request time and response status. Hosting and delivery providers may process this information in operational or security logs to deliver pages, diagnose faults and prevent abuse.
Google Analytics also receives information about website use, as described below. Please avoid putting personal or confidential information into page URLs or query strings.
Google Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read and which contact tools they use. The Google tag loads when a page opens, and its default depends on where Google places you from your IP address. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google Consent Mode denies analytics storage by default, and analytics cookies, including the _ga and _ga_* identifiers, are set only after you choose Allow analytics. Elsewhere, analytics storage is allowed by default, so those cookies can be set when a page opens unless you have chosen No thanks. Choosing No thanks keeps analytics storage denied; it does not block the Google tag from loading.
Google can receive cookie identifiers, page URLs and titles, referring pages, browser and device information, language, approximate location and interaction data. Network requests also expose your IP address to the receiving provider. Our website configuration disables advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization and Google signals.
Our custom contact events contain the action, channel, page identifier and language. Those custom events exclude the message text and the trip fields. Google may also collect automatic interaction events according to the Analytics property settings. Yandex Metrica is not currently configured on this website.
Your browser and analytics choices
Until you make a choice, we show the analytics banner when your browser's time zone suggests you are in or near the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland. Anyone can open it with the Change analytics choice button in this section. The banner lets you allow or decline analytics cookies. We save that choice in your browser's local storage under oxusroad-consent and apply it on later visits across the site's languages and in every region, including choices saved in the earlier banner. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice applies to the current page only.
The banner follows your time zone and Google's default follows your IP address, so the two can differ, for example while you travel or use a VPN. If Google places you in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland and you do not see the banner, analytics storage stays denied unless you allow it with the button below.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, use tracking protection or a content blocker, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported. The guides and contact tools do not require analytics to work. Deleting cookies alone does not stop future collection or delete information already received by a provider; a later visit may set new cookies.
These controls have different effects: blocking cookies alone may not stop every analytics request. This policy explains the current operation of the site; reading it or continuing to browse is not treated as an explicit consent action and does not waive your legal rights.
Trip-message composer and clipboard
The contact-page fields prepare a message in the current browser page. The form does not submit that draft to an Oxusroad inbox or database. Draft fields are held in page memory and are not saved by our composer in browser storage; leaving or reloading the page can clear them. Your browser or device may have its own autofill or recovery features.
Copying a message places it on your device's clipboard. Clipboard history, synchronization and access depend on your device settings. Copying alone does not send a message to Oxusroad.
WhatsApp, WeChat and later inquiries
Opening a WhatsApp link passes the prepared message to WhatsApp as part of the link, even before you press Send there. You review the message in WhatsApp and choose whether to send it. WeChat tools let you open a QR code and copy text to paste into the app. Messenger providers handle data under their own terms and privacy policies.
If you send us a message, we receive the information you choose to share, together with the profile or contact details the messenger makes available. We use it to respond, discuss your requested trip and, if you proceed, arrange the services you request. A later booking may require additional information and separate terms. Please do not include passport scans, payment-card details, passwords, medical information or other sensitive documents in the initial trip draft.
Purposes, providers and international processing
The purposes of the processing described here are to deliver and protect the website, understand its use and respond to inquiries. Hosting, analytics and messenger providers process information needed for their respective functions. A service you ask us to arrange may require relevant details to be shared with the accommodation, transport or other provider involved; requirements should be confirmed when arranging that service.
Providers may process information outside Uzbekistan or your country of residence. Their applicable terms describe their processing locations and transfer safeguards. We do not promise that all information stays in Uzbekistan. The legal basis and any consent requirements depend on the processing and the law that applies; this notice does not override those requirements.
How long information is kept
Composer drafts are limited to the current page as described above. Analytics cookie lifetimes are controlled by Google Analytics and the browser; the standard identifier cookie can last up to two years and its expiry can be renewed by later visits. Browser limits or deletion may shorten that period.
Information already sent to Analytics follows the retention settings of the Analytics property; aggregate reports can have a different lifetime. Hosting logs and messenger records follow the relevant provider and account settings. Inquiry records may also need to be retained for the requested service, applicable record-keeping obligations or disputes. Contact us to ask about retention or deletion of a specific record; we cannot promise that deleting a browser cookie removes provider records.
Security and sharing carefully
The public site is addressed over HTTPS. The trip composer does not provide a document-upload or payment-card collection facility. Send only the details needed to discuss your trip and check that you are using the contact details on this website.
No website, device or communication service can guarantee absolute security. Your device, clipboard, messenger account and external websites have their own security controls. If you suspect that information shared with us has been exposed, contact us using the details above.
Privacy requests and your rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your personal information, to object to particular processing, or to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. You may also have the right to complain to the relevant data protection authority. Withdrawal does not undo processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Contact us using the details above. We may need proportionate information to verify a request and locate the record. Some requests may be limited by legal obligations, the rights of others or our ability to identify a record; applicable response deadlines and exceptions still apply. Requests concerning a provider's independent processing may need to be directed to that provider.
Children, external links and policy updates
Children should involve a parent or guardian before contacting us and should not send personal documents through the trip composer. If you believe a child has shared information that should be removed, contact us.
External links lead to websites with their own privacy practices. We may revise this policy when the website or its processing changes and will update the date above. Any additional notice or consent required by applicable law remains necessary.
